Customize Garments with Reflective Ink – Safety and Comfort Together

When working outside at night, making yourself visible to others can often be a lifesaver. Reflective jackets and vests do a great job of this, but can feel water-dr-reflective-ink-jacketscumbersome to wear and are not attractive. Gain the best of both worlds – visibility with comfort and style – by customizing your own garments with reflective ink.

Made of a water-based latex ink base, this specific ink contains retro-reflective lenses, giving it the ability to reflect any light that is aimed at your custom print. Reflective ink can be screen printed directly onto any fabric or garment, helping to provide a custom look with safety.

Reflective ink is perfect for constructions crews and landscapers who are often working outside late at night, as well as police departments, fire departments, EMS, and even waste management.

Companies with workers on the job late at night can greatly benefit from customized apparel screen printed with reflective ink, but it’s also a great asset for families, teenagers, athletes, etc. Sports teams that go on late night runs or have early morning training can do so safely with customized reflective jackets and track pants. Dog walkers and late night runners should always wear a reflective jacket or sweatshirt to make themselves visible to any drivers. Customizing garments with reflective ink is also a great way to make your children even more visible during the dusk hours when they may still be outside riding bikes or playing.

For double security, you can even have reflective ink printed onto a reflective jacket. This is most useful for companies looking to customize jackets for workers with their company logo. With the combination of the reflective jacket and the reflective ink, you ensure that your workers are safe while also promoting the name of your company.

Operation Holiday – Helping Spooner House Feed Over 400 Families

Thanksgiving Day is about more than just giving thanks – it’s about helping those around us as well. This year, we teamed up with Spooner House to help provide families in need with a Thanksgiving Day feast.

With the help of everyone that stopped by, Spooner House was able to collect 153 turkeys, nearly 600 non-perishable items, and $574 that will help provide an additional 190 meals to be distributed through the Spooner House food pantry.

Operation Holiday runs throughout the month of November, collecting food each day to help feed as many families as possible. On Thanksgiving of 2013, 450 families were provided with a Thanksgiving feast, complete with stuffing, cranberry sauce, side dishes, desserts, and even coffee and tea. On behalf of Spooner House, we’d like to thank all of you who donated and helped make this year’s Operation Holiday a successful one.
